Malignes Melanom
Hab gerade im amerikanischen Melanom-Forum (mpip.org) eine in 1991 diagnostizierte Patientin mit 8 mm entdeckt, der es immer noch gut geht:

Auf die Frage, wie sie behandelt wurde, schrieb sie:
"Dawn, because the mm was so big, my drs. pulled out all the guns that they had in 1991: Interferon (but it was low dose, self-injections three times a week, DTIC, and many, many doses of BCG. Additionally, I had an aggressive plastic surgeon who really took off a HUGE area around the mm. Not sure if any one thing did the job, or if it was the combination of all plus TLC from the drs. and my family."
DTIC ist ja wohl die übliche Chemo, BCG ist ein inzwischen eher als antiquiert geltender Tuberkulose-Impfstoff, TLC steht für "tender loving care".
Also: lasst uns auch so viele Jahre weiter kicken!
